Each piece in the Sona (Sun-a) collection is a one off original piece. Made from 925 silver clay this piece embraces the inherent quality of this material which is soft and malleable, picking up fingerprints and marks that expose how the piece was formed. The intention is to reveal the duality between the soft malleable clay and the solid sterling silver it becomes through the firing process. All sterling silver pieces are hallmarked.

I am a sculptor working from my studio in North Down.
Following an Honours Degree in Fine Art I completed a Master’s Degree in Site-specific Sculpture. I won my first Public Art commission while still at college in Belfast and worked mainly in Public Art throughout my career, specializing in large scale works in bronze and steel.
Recently I made a deliberate move away from Public Art to focus on smaller scale sculpture and wearable sculpture. Transferring my skills in metal work and casting to a smaller more intimate scale.
